**PLEASE READ THE ENTIRE DESCRIPTION FOR THE PROGRAM**
Our Half-Day Program is one of the most popular programs our department offers. This state of the art facility has basketball nets, a soccer field, an arts and crafts area and much more!
To adhere to state guidelines we will have groups of 10 kids, and 1 counselor. Children will be grouped together with similar aged children (and siblings), given a specific group color, and will be together the whole summer (unless the state guidelines change that will allow us the switch the groups later on as we move through the phases).
It will be a set schedule for every week and kids will not be able to choose their activities like they have in the past. The Half Day Program consists of three 45 minute sessions.
We will follow state guidelines related to COVID-19. At drop off, families will be asked if they are exhibiting COVID-19 symptoms, etc. Under phase 2 guidelines masks will be required if the participants cannot maintain social distance (6 ft apart).
The bathhouse will not be open this summer and port-o-johns will be used during camp at Hedges Pond. If the State guidelines change and we are able to re-open the facilities safely we will do so.
*The program will be cancelled if it is raining or if the facility is unsafe from weather*
Unfortunately we will not be able to offer the West Elementary Program or Nathaniel Morton Program this summer. The schools are not allowing any inside or outside use of their facilities because of COVID-19.
**This program is limited to 100 kids.
